Why?
Apparently, the lawyer, Todd Paris, was reading MAXIM’s “Sexiest Everything” volume in the courtroom when the judge saw it, called Paris to the bench, and held him to one year of unsupervised probation.
The two have since come to an agreement and the judge reduced the contempt charge from criminal to civil, and fined him $500.
